All-new Kindle Kids Edition Launching

Role: Art Director, JP Device team, Amazon Japan

Situation

  • Launch of Japan’s first Kindle for kids, based on UX renewal data from Fire Tablet Kid.

  • Tasked with defining the best concept: visuals, storytelling, and purchase journey.

Action

  • Conducted qualitative/quantitative research with target parents (with Po & PdM).

  • Developed creative briefs and managed external partners through production.

  • Oversaw filming, post-production, and branding across 3 projects.

  • Reviewed and approved designs, artwork, photography, graphics.

  • Presented and signed off launch assets to HQ.

Result & Insight

  • Successfully launched Kindle Kids Edition in Japan with research-driven creative.

  • Demonstrated AD’s role in aligning user insights, design execution, and brand launch.
